The 5-foot-11, 185-pound 1,000-yard receiver elected to join head coach Ed Orgeron and the Tigers over Ohio State, Purdue, MSU, Wisconsin, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisville, Florida State, and Oregon, according to Chase Goodbread of College Football 24/7.
Giles will be required to sit out the upcoming season due to NCAA transfer rules, but he will have two years of eligibility entering the 2018 season.
The Tigers newest receiver recorded 69 receptions for 1,158 yards and scored 13 touchdowns in his sophomore season, and was quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ top target in their final season together in Lubbock.
Giles will join former Red Raiders defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko in Baton Rouge, as he announced his decision to transfer to LSU last month.
