Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette Not Expected To Play Against Colts (REPORT)

Jacksonville Jaguars star rookie running back Leonard Fournette is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts but is reportedly not expected to play.

Fournette did not participate in practice all week after suffering an ankle injury in the team’s Week 6 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

The No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft has scored a touchdown in every game this season and will be replaced by running backs Chris Ivory, Corey Grant, and T.J. Yeldon in Indianapolis Sunday.

While the Jaguars are not expected to have Fournette on the field in Week 7, wide receiver Marqise Lee is expected to play despite the questionable tag, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The fourth-year receiver out of USC was a limited participant during Friday’s practice after missing Wednesday and Thursday’s practices with a knee injury.

Lee is coming off arguably his best game of the season, catching five passes for a season-high 83 yards in the loss to the Rams. The 6-foot, 196-pound receiver currently leads the team in receiving yards (291) and has recorded four receptions of 20-yards or more this season.

Update: Fournette has officially been declared inactive for Sunday’s game.
